This book is a must read for every woman who knows they are called to make an impact in the lives of others. Maybe you need someone to speak to that call you feel, but can't seem to apprehend it. While reading this book you will feel that the author is speaking directly to you and calling you to stand up in your call. You're not reading this comment by accident, the Spirit of God has something to show you through this book! I thought I found it accidentally, but after reading it I am certain my Father led me here to help me understand who He created me to be. LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
Although it is a short read, it took a while for me to read because I ended up using this as a study. I like that there were so many scripture references, this made my study more effective. A must read for any woman in leadHERship!

I can feel the strength of the Deborah Anointing in the written words as I read them. The prayers and declarations are awesome! This is not the kind of book to be read one time and placed on the self. This is a powerful tool and one that I personally will use as a reference book; as a learning/teaching tool. I have recommended this book to several people. I love it! This book has me saying, "I will arise, I will do, I will flow in a Deborah Anointing for this is my calling!" EXCELLENT!!! From the "Forward" this book started speaking to my spirit and I finished reading it within about 5 days! I ended up getting both the hard copy and the kindle version. Immediately told the leader of my women's ministry about it - and shared with my other girlfriends. My hard copy is making the rounds now. Great exposition on Deborah - and helped me to understand things about myself. Highly recommend for women - and men - to learn that we not only have a place in God's plan...but a place of honor. HE has called us to take kingdom authority just as HE has called the men - and it's time we wake up to our God given callings!
Absolutely profound. To take Deborah's life, break it down in every aspect, and use it to inspire women everywhere was genius. She has a great understanding of women in ministry and how to encourage and inspire. Women wear many hats and this book shows us that it's ok, and that we are absolutely called. I recommend this for every woman in ministry or considering it!

The author provides a balanced, Biblical representation of how women were viewed and engaged in the work of God in the Old Testament and in contemporary times. She reframes the role of women in the larger society without undermining the authority of men in selected settings. She celebrates "femininity" without stereotyping or limiting women's expressions of their feminine self.
