The book is a great guide for people new to New Hampshire looking for a few good hikes on their vacation. It helpfully categorizes each hike by length difficulty, and location of the trail-head. Also very useful were the "top ten" lists of best hikes for kids, best day hikes, best etc. If a new edition ever comes out I hope the author will add GPS coordinates for each trail-head, as some of them can be difficult to locate.

It has chapters for best hike for kids, best hikes to lakes, best 4000 footers, best day hikes, etc. as well as listing them by the north or south region of NH.
